Happy New Year Everyone!!
I am so glad we are here.
I hope you are excited for what 2018 has in store for us. I hope it grants us all our heart desires and more.
I am back with a quick dish and it is super easy to cook!
You will need:
1 Sweet potato
2tsp of soft cream
1/2 a cup of whipping cream
Pinch of crushed salt
1/4 of parsley
1/4 traggon
1/2 crushed chilli (optional).
Pinch of cinnamon (optional)
Pinch of nutmeg (optional)
Cream sauce:
You will need
1/2 tsp of butter
1/2 tb of soft cream
5-10 tb of whipping (you can add more depending on how thick or runny you want it).
1/2 clove of garlic
1/2 of mixed herbs
1/2 sage
Pinch of salt (optional)
Pinch of nutmeg
To cook the mashed potato.
Peel sweet potato skin and cut in little chunks.
In a kettle, fill the water halfway to boil.
Place a pan over a low heat and add boiled and little chunks of sweet potato.
Cook for 6-10 mins over low heat, insert fork to test the texture.
Once soft enough, get a potato masher to mash it all.
Add above ingredient, stir until all is incorporated and voila food is ready.
For the sauce, over a low heat, place a pan and the butter until melted.
Add the soft cream until melted and add whipping cream.
You can all add all ingredients.
Stir for 3-5 mins. Voila sauce is ready.
You can serve with your choice fish or meat.
I used Salmon and added some greens.
I hope you enjoy making this meal as much as I did.
Lots of love. xxx
