Thai Green Curry - Wagamama Style

I hope you are getting through this, despite the situation at hand!


Let us get right into this.

Things you will need:

  • A full can of coconut milk (you can substitute with 125ml of milk if you have curry powder).

  • 500g of prawns preferably King prawns

  • A full onion

  • 3 mixed peppers(you can improvise i.e. use whatever you have).

  • Scotch bonnet pepper (optional if you don't like spice).

  • Curry powder 2tbsp

  • Curry paste 1tbsp

  • 2 knoor cubes

  • 1tbsp of grated ginger

  • 3 cloves of garlic

  • 1tbsp of desiccated coconut

  • 1tsp of curry powder

  • Chopped broccoli (optional)

  • Lemon grass 5 sticks (optional)

  • Lime leaves 5(very important)


How to cook:

  • Chop all the vegetables on a board.

  • Place prawn over a large pan or wok, add ginger, garlic and saute for 5mins until cooked.

  • Add chopped vegetables to the prawns sauter for 3mins.

  • Add a can of coconut milk.

  • Add spice listed, knoor, curry paste, curry powder- simmer for 5-8mins.

  • Add lime leaves and let it simmer for about 2mins.

  • Food is done!


You can add water if you wish to reduce the thickness.

You can serve with rice or pasta!
